I had a fantastic stay at the resort! The staff was incredibly friendly and really went above and beyond to help us. The cleanliness of the place stood out to me, especially as I work in the cleaning industry. It's conveniently located near the 'Old Mill' area, making it easy to explore without needing to drive. However, one downside was the absence of elevators in the building, which made carrying luggage a bit challenging, especially since our unit was on the third floor.

Our two-bedroom, two-bath unit was spacious and very clean, though the kitchen was small and a bit dated. It still had everything I needed for our meals.

The service was outstanding! The staff, including Brandy and Christie at the front desk, were very helpful and provided great recommendations for local activities.

The location is excellent, with easy access to attractions like Dollywood and the Smoky Mountain National Park. It's close to everything, which made our outings very convenient.

The resort has a nice pool that was clean, though it lacked some of the more luxurious features found in other resorts. The pool deck was rough on bare feet, so I'd recommend wearing flip-flops.

I had a great time at the Oakmont, which is always full of activities. The place is undergoing updates, making it feel a bit fresher, although some areas are still a tad outdated. One downside was the Wi-Fi, which comes with an extra cost for each device, and it can be a bit unreliable in certain units. Overall, it offers good value for families looking for a fun getaway.

Rooms

The rooms were clean, but definitely had an outdated feel with very hard beds. There were also some starter supplies missing, like coffee and shampoo, which was a bit disappointing.
Service

Maintenance was quick to respond to any needs we had, which I appreciated very much. However, the office staff wasn't very accommodating regarding accessibility issues.

The location was fantastic, close to tons of activities in the Smokies, and we found it easy to get around, especially with the nearby trolley service.

The indoor pool was small but worked for the kids. There were also nice outdoor spaces with a play area, although some amenities like the jacuzzi were quite small.

I had quite the mixed experience at Oakmont Resort. While the location is excellent for exploring nearby attractions, the resort itself feels quite outdated and in need of some serious renovations. I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating, but the poor Wi-Fi situation was frustrating and the condition of the room left a lot to be desired. Overall, it has its charms but also has some significant drawbacks.

Rooms

The rooms were clean but very much dated, with furniture and bathroom fixtures that felt stuck in the past. The bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed was quite the nightmare.

The facilities are lacking modern amenities and need to be upgraded. The pool and hot tub were pleasant, but the overall feel of the resort was not up to par.

I had a decent stay at the resort, which was clean and well-maintained. The amenities were nice, especially the hot tub and sauna, but I was disappointed by the temperature of the indoor pool and some maintenance issues in our unit. The location was convenient for accessing Pigeon Forge attractions, and the staff was generally nice, although the cleaning expectations upon checkout felt excessive.

I had a surprisingly pleasant stay at the resort for 7 days, especially considering the great value for money at only $349. The room was spacious and clean, and I loved the hot tub after long hiking days. However, some amenities seemed outdated, and the limited Wi-Fi access was quite inconvenient.
